A Reiki treatment with Sit Stay Healing is a gentle, receptive session where the practitioner holds presence and attention while the recipient rests comfortably. Reiki is offered with intention and attention, not imposed. From its traditional Japanese roots, Reiki is understood as a way of clearing tension and habitual holding, helping the body and mind move toward a balanced state rather than chasing particular outcomes. 
Sessions may be held:
In person, in a calm, comfortable space
Remotely, where you are in your own environment
For people and animals alike
Each session is tailored to the individual — respecting consent, boundaries, and what feels supportive at the moment.

A typical Reiki treatment includes:
A brief conversation before the session to gently orient and answer questions
A calm space where you rest comfortably (fully clothed, with support like blankets or pillows if needed)
Minimal talking during the session itself, allowing stillness and attention to do their work
Light hand positions on or near the body, or hands-off attention where appropriate
A short check-in after the session to share observations or reflections
You may notice sensations such as warmth, gentle movement, or deep relaxation — or you may feel simply calm and present. It is important to know that Reiki is not a medical or diagnostic practice, nor a guarantee of specific results, but a supportive experience that can facilitate ease and awareness.
